Singapore turned into the center of the crypto world last week, and BTSE was right in the middle of it.
From Oct 6 to 11, our team hosted, sponsored and showed up at more than a dozen events across the city, anchored by our booth at the TOKEN2049 main conference and a VIP suite at the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix.
Here’s how the week unfolded.
On the Floor at Marina Bay Sands
TOKEN2049’s main conference ran from Oct 7–8 at Marina Bay Sands, and the BTSE booth was open both days. Over two days, we met traders, builders, institutional partners, and plenty of first-time visitors curious about what we’re building.

This year, the conversation centered on institutional DeFi, tokenized assets, and AI-driven trading, themes that directly align with BTSE’s focus on building robust exchange, payments, and trading infrastructure.
As traditional finance and on-chain liquidity continue to converge, our solutions strive to enable our clients to ride this wave.

Raising a Glass at BTSE’s Cocktail Party
As day two wrapped, we moved the conversation to Dallas Cafe & Bar at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands for the BTSE Cocktail Party. It was the perfect bridge between a full day of panels and the evening circuit — relaxed, well-attended and exactly the kind of setting where real partnerships start.

Trackside at the F1 Singapore Grand Prix
With the conference halls behind us, the week shifted gears as the F1 Singapore Grand Prix kicked off. BTSE hosted partners, clients and friends in our VIP suite overlooking the Marina Bay Street Circuit for the three nights of practice, qualifying and the race itself.
There is nothing quite like the Singapore race: crowds cheering behind the grandstands, the cars threading through the city streets at full speed, and the kind of atmosphere that pulls everyone in whether they follow the sport or not.

The suite gave our guests the best vantage point in the house, along with the space to step back from the track, settle into a proper conversation and enjoy the hospitality without the crowds.
Moving Beyond the Conference Hall
Conference weeks can be exhausting, so we built a programme of wellness side events to keep attendees energized:

At our Sunrise Yoga event, participants joined a calming yoga session before kicking off an intense week

At our Game On Pickleball event, participants were pitted against each other in a series of friendly matches.

Our Ride the Waves event added a unique twist to the week as we had an expert coach participants through their very first indoor surfing experience.

At our Strength & Flow Pilates event, participants worked with a pilates coach to condition their bodies ahead of the big F1 race weekend.
Finally, we rounded off the week with a group hike at MacRitchie Reservoir, where attendees could swap the conference floor for the forest trail and connect at a more relaxed pace.
Beyond our own events, the BTSE team made the rounds across the city, joining gatherings hosted by partners such as Noos, Sui, Comma3, Figment, and Trive VC.
The response to these sessions told us something: people want to connect in ways that don’t involve a lanyard and a lecture hall.
Looking Ahead
TOKEN2049 week reaffirmed what we already believed: Asia remains the heartbeat of crypto adoption, and the appetite for secure, professional-grade trading infrastructure has never been stronger.
To everyone who visited the booth, joined a session, or shared a drink or a hike with us — thank you. We’ll see you at the next one.
