In September 2025, the FSA Seychelles (Financial Services Authority of Seychelles) published a public notice referencing BTSE Holdings Limited. This post sets out the facts for anyone who has come across that notice.
The FSA Seychelles Notice Does Not Relate to the BTSE Platform
The FSA Seychelles notice concerns BTSE Holdings Limited, a legal entity that was previously registered in Seychelles as an International Business Company. BTSE Holdings Limited is a separate legal entity from the existing entity which operates the BTSE platform today. The two entities do not share directors, governance structures, or operational functions. No aspect of the FSA Seychelles notice affects the BTSE platform, its users, or their accounts.
BTSE Holdings Limited Had Already Left Seychelles Before the Notice
BTSE Holdings Limited voluntarily wound down its Seychelles operations and completed migration of all users before the FSA issued its notice on 24 July 2025. The FSA’s own published statement acknowledges this migration. BTSE Holdings Limited had no remaining users or active operations in Seychelles at the time the notice was issued.
The FSA Notice Was Administrative, Not Substantive
The FSA made no findings of financial misconduct, fraud, AML/CFT breach, or harm to any user. No enforcement action was taken against any BTSE entity.
Current Status of BTSE Holdings Limited and the Seychelles Notice
The BTSE platform is operated by a separate independent legal entity and maintains a full compliance programme.
