Important-Update_Blue

BTSE would like to inform users about the upcoming Ethereum Fusaka hard fork, a significant network upgrade expected to affect the Ethereum mainnet and multiple Layer 2 (L2) networks.

Due to the upgrade, BTSE will temporarily suspend deposits and withdrawals for the affected assets on the Ethereum chain and Ethereum Layer 2 Networks.

The suspension schedule is as follows, broken down by network.

1. Base & Optimism Hard Fork

The Base and Optimism networks will undergo their upgrades prior to the main Ethereum event.

  • Deposit & Withdrawal Suspension Time (Base, Optimism): 2025-12-02 18:00:00 (UTC+8)

2. Ethereum Fusaka Hard Fork (Mainnet & All Layer 2s)

This is the main network upgrade for Ethereum, which will also necessitate a suspension across all connected L2 networks: Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Blast, Scroll, ZKSync, and Metis. Polygon transactions may also be affected, depending on when they release their timeline

  • Deposit & Withdrawal Suspension Time (ETH & All L2s):
    • 2025-12-04 05:35:00 (UTC+8)
  • Expected Re-Enable Time: 2025-12-04 06:05:00 (UTC+8)
  • Note: If abnormalities occur, the reopening time will be adjusted based on on-chain conditions.

Official Reference:

Tokens Impacted

The following networks and their native/assets are expected to be affected:

  • Ethereum Mainnet: ETH, all ERC-20 tokens
  • Arbitrum One: ETH on Arbitrum, ~8 tokens
  • Optimism: OP, WLD
  • Base: ETH on Base, 10+ on-chain tokens
  • Blast: BLAST
  • Scroll: SCR
  • ZKSync: ZK
  • Metis: METIS

Important Notes

  • Trading will not be affected for these assets during the suspension period – only deposits and withdrawals. You can remedy this by transacting on non-Ethereum chains.
    • For example, you won’t be able to deposit or withdraw USDT on ERC-20, but you’re more than welcome to do so on TRC-20.
  • The suspensions are a precautionary measure to ensure a secure and smooth transition during the network upgrade.
  • BTSE will handle all technical requirements involved for all users holding the affected assets on our platform. You do not have to do anything.

We will resume deposits and withdrawals once the upgraded networks are deemed stable. Thank you for your understanding.
