BTSE Announcement

Dear BTSE Users,

BTSE conducts regular reviews to maintain high standards of quality for its assets and services. As part of a recent review, BTSE has decided to cease support of BUSD (Binance USD) as a quote currency and margin and settlement asset, effective from 5:00 AM (UTC) on Saturday, Mar 18, 2023. This decision has been made to streamline our platform offerings and provide a more focused and efficient trading experience for our users.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Effective Date: The removal of BUSD as a quote currency and margin and settlement asset will take place on Saturday, Mar 18, 2023, at 5:00 AM (UTC). Please ensure that you adjust your trading strategies accordingly before this date.
  • Open Orders: All open orders involving BUSD pairs will be automatically canceled on Mar 18, 2023, at 5:00 AM (UTC). We recommend reviewing your open orders and making any necessary adjustments before this time.
  • Open Positions: Since BUSD will no longer be used as collateral, we advise you to ensure adequate margin in any existing open positions that have BUSD as collateral before Saturday, Mar 18, 2023, at 5:00 AM (UTC). Please make sure to adjust your positions before this deadline to avoid any unintended consequences.
  • Asset Withdrawal: You will still be able to withdraw your BUSD from your BTSE account. However, after Mar 18, 2023, BUSD will no longer be available for trading, margin, or settlement purposes.
  • Alternatives: BTSE continues to support a wide range of cryptocurrencies and stablecoins, providing you with numerous alternatives for trading, margin, and settlement purposes. You may explore our available offerings to find suitable replacements for BUSD.

We understand that this change may cause inconvenience for some users, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Our priority remains to ensure the satisfaction and success of our users, and we firmly believe that this decision will ultimately lead to a better trading experience on the BTSE platform.
