BTSE Announcement

Dear BTSE Users,

BTSE will be renaming all futures contracts on our platform starting from April 17, 2023. The new naming conventions will provide a clearer and more concise understanding of our contract offerings. Please find the detailed changes below:

Perpetual Contracts:

The current perpetual contract name i.e. [CRYPTO][PFC] will be updated to [CRYPTO]-[PERP]. For instance, BTCPFC will be renamed BTC-PERP following the update.

Time-based Contracts:

The current time-based contract name i.e. [CRYPTO][MY] will be updated to [CRYPTO]-[YYMMDD]. For example, BTCU22 will be renamed BTC-220930 after the update.

The full name of the time-based contract will now follow the format [FULL CRYPTO NAME] [DD MM YY], changing from [CRYPTO] [MM DD]. As an example, the full name for BTC-220930 will be Bitcoin 30 Sep 2022.

Please note the following important information:

1. BTSE’s API is backward-compatible, which means the update will not impact existing API users. However, we highly recommend trading with the new futures contract names for a seamless experience.

2. If you are a BTSE app user, please ensure to update your app to the latest version for the changes to take effect.

We appreciate your continuous support and hope that these updates will enhance your trading experience on our platform. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to our customer support team at support@btse.com.

Thank you for choosing BTSE!

Sincerely,

BTSE Team
