Aergo is designed to be flexible and user-friendly. Its smart contract language, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lua.org\/about.html\">Lua<\/a>, makes it easy for developers to program decentralized applications (dApps), where even kids can develop their own dApps, according to Aergo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The native token, AERGO, can be used to pay for transaction fees on-chain and also supports governance through staking to promote decentralization on the network. Aergo adopts a hybrid token model \u2013 there is an ERC-20 token state and a native token state.
