About Meebits\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n

The Meebits are 20,000 unique 3D voxel characters, created by a custom generative algorithm, then registered on the Ethereum blockchain. The NFT contract that governs ownership is a standard ERC-721 that works with any compatible service or exchange. A custom marketplace is also included in the contract, supporting like-kind trading of up to 100 Meebits per transaction with all the standard buy, bid and ask transactions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Creations of Meebits<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Meebits is created by none other than the creator of CryptoPunks and Autoglyphs \u2013 Larva Labs. Meebits was their third launched project.<\/span><\/p>\n

IP Acquisition<\/strong><\/h3>\n

An official announcement is made on March 12, 2022, that Yuga Labs, who created Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), Bored Ape Kennel Club (BAKC), Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC), and the upcoming Otherside NFTs acquired the Meebits and CryptoPunks.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>It is stated in their announcement that they will be granting Meebits holders the same commercial rights that BAYC and MAYC owners enjoy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Why Meebits?<\/b><\/h2>\n

Compared to CryptoPunks, Meebits is always on the downside of not receiving enough attention, and Larva Labs does not have a roadmap for Meebits. After the acquisition, Meebits\u2019 community gained more confidence in Meebits. NFT collectors are all looking forward to what Yuga Labs, one of the most promising NFT companies, will plan for Meebits\u2019 future.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another point to consider is that Meebits currently provides collectors with the lowest entry barrier to be part of the Yuga Labs ecosystem. BTSE aims to support Meebits and give the NFT back to the community through the lottery event.<\/span>

Something big is coming, tweeted<\/a> by Gordon Goner, co-founder of Yuga Labs, on April 27, 2022, that the team is currently working on enabling Meebits utilities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
