In the<\/span><\/i> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">spirit of fairness and transparency,<\/span><\/i> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the points below explain how winners are selected<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When the ticket claiming period ends, all tickets subscribed will be entered into a pool. The system then selects the winner(s) through the following steps:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1. To generate a random number, first, select the price of the BTSE-USD trading pair * 1000 (and convert it to an integer) at the target time (72 hours before the ticket claim period ends) + the number of all subscribed tickets as the base seed denoted as \u201cS\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2. Use the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.simplilearn.com\/tutorials\/cyber-security-tutorial\/sha-256-algorithm\">SHA-256 hash algorithm<\/a> to generate the hash value of \u201cS\u201d, denoted as \u201cH\u201d. Then use \u201cH\u201d as a hexadecimal number and convert it into a big integer \u201cB\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3. \u201cW = B % N\u201d will be the winning ticket number, where \u201cN\u201d is the total number of tickets and \u201c%\u201d is the remainder.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4. If a certain number of winners (\u201cX\u201d) needs to be selected, before selecting the next winner, the ticket(s) of the participant(s) who have already won will be excluded from the pool.
