LPT tokens can be staked on the platform to ensure security, obtain the right to perform, delegate work, and vote on the platform\u2019s proposal.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Livepeer secured a $20 million Series B extension in January this year and has raised a total of $51 million to date with investors, notably, Northzone, Alan Howard, Tiger Global Management, and Coinbase Ventures.
